What's been your biggest achievement of the year?

This year it has probably been the launch of my Bootek Showcase alias, mashing up techno beats over 4 decks, have played some awsome places including a debut at Dance Valley and a tour of Japan and Korea!

What moments will you never forget?

It's got to be playing at a rave called Lingerave in a cinema complex in Arizona - great venue, awesome atmosphere and lots of smiling faces!

Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?

Louk from the south west: awesome productions, a breath of fresh air to the scene in my opinion and a nice bloke too!

Who's been the artist of the year for you?

There have been so many new artists coming through this year including the likes of Kidd Kaos and Louk but out of the more established guys I would have to say Kamui as they have really smashed it this year with some quality crossover tunes!

What's been your favourite label of the year?

I've really got to say my Tranzlation label biased I know as Ive played for tracks of it that any other! Also Lashed recordings has punmped out some quality releases this year!

What do you think has been the best track of the year?

Its got to be a cover myself and Dark by Design have done of Red Carpets - Alright, been getting a huge reaction everytime all year and I'm still not sick of playing it!

What's been your favourite event of the year?

Got to be Dance Valley, which has to be the best most organised festival I have ever been to or played, and I took a crew of my mates with me which made it even better!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?

Not so funny at the time but I think it must be blowing out two tyres on seperate occasions on a trip to Scotland with no mobile phone, so having to walk miles to services each time! Took me 10 hours to get from Leeds to Edinburgh!

What do you have planned for the next year?

Lots more touring including some new places such as South America and eastern Europe as well as a new artist album and lots of exciting collaborations to be released on my Tranzlation label. I also have some exciting plans for my new night in Leeds, Hard Beat Manifesto - all will be revealed soon!
